Available in Kiln (Traditional Bourbon Casks) or 36 Month Naturally Airdried (Traditional Wine Casks) options. Naturally airdried barrels are increasingly being used by Craft and premium limited release American Whiskeys. Likewise an increasing number of international premium single malt whisky releases have incorporated new white oak into their whisky’s. Toasted or charred new American white oak provides an opportunity to introduce lifted aromatics and increased levels of soft round texture in the front to mid pallet. Longer periods of Natural Airdrying reduce the impact of obvious oak tannins to provide a more subtle and integrated textural influences.
